Building Survey

A building survey provides a full picture of a dwelling’s construction and condition. It is recommended when, for example, the property is of unusual construction, is dilapidated, has been extensively altered or where a major conversion or renovation is planned. The report includes details of the whole range of defects, major to minor.

It comprises:

• a comprehensive appraisal of the means and materials of construction
• a technical analysis of significant defects revealed and advice on appropriate further actions
• minor defect identification and shortcomings in the physical condition, maintenance and design of the building
• a valuation can be included in a building survey, if required
